What do I do with my remaining credit? If you still have credit for the eShop and want to buy a game for 3DS and Wii U, you should hurry. Because from August 29, 2022 it should no longer be possible to spend the credit for Wii U and 3DS games. This does not apply to download codes, which can still be entered until March 27, 2023.
But don’t worry: The credit can still be spent on games in the Nintendo Switch eShop. If you miss the deadline, the credit will not expire automatically.
According to Nintendo, it should still be possible to download software titles that have already been purchased beyond March 27, 2023. This also includes DLCs and updates for the games. Even the possibility to play online with others should be preserved.
