Lego: Atari 2600 replica appears in August for 240 euros

The Danish clamping block manufacturer Lego has recently added some sets from the world of video games to its range in addition to the classic themes. In addition to an extensive Super Mario-Series including recently announced Mighty Bowser and one long neck off Horizon – Forbidden West A replica of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) was also released in 2020. Now the next Lego retro console is in the starting blocks with the Atari Video Computer System, which was later renamed the Atari 2600.

As part of the Lego Icons series, the Atari 2600 will be available from August 1, 2022 Lego shop available for the stately price of 239.99 euros. The set includes the console, a replica of the CX40 joystick and three game cartridges from the classics asteroid, Adventure and centipede. As a small Easter egg, the console can also be opened and then shows a small diorama of a typical children’s room from the 1980s.
