Lost Ark: Western players are lazy about twinks – “alts” are worth it
Western Lost Ark players seem to be twink lazy. At least the Arkesia heroes of other regions use alternate characters much more often than Europeans and North Americans. In order for that to change, those responsible at Amazon Games are currently stirring the advertising drum. We’ll tell you what advantages Twinks offer you.
Lost Ark is in crisis. Despite regularly appearing, packed content patches (most recently the July update) only a comparatively small number of players register for the online role-playing game on a daily basis. After big ban wave in June the number of concurrent players fell first from 870,000 to 270,000. In the last few days, there were hardly more than 200,000 characters online at the same time (via Steam charts).
Community Roxx already declared a week ago in the official forumwhat the statistics from Amazon Games reveal: On the one hand, many players drop out as soon as they reach Tier 3 of the endgame, because it then becomes very time-consuming to keep upgrading their own clothes. On the other hand, European players are comparatively lazy about twinks. In no other region are so few alternative characters actively played as in Europe and North America.
Twinks Matter, Says Amazon!
As far as the effort for upgrades from item level 1,302 is concerned, Amazon Games recently took significant measures with the July update. And if you already have a main character who is better equipped, you should use the current events to equip an alt. - Some players purposely create multiple characters of the same class, since that way you can share the existing class engravings and gems.
Lost Ark has dozens of ways to play that are a lot of fun across the board. For that reason alone it’s worth playing one or the other twink.

Farm efficiently with alts
What does a twink bring you at which item level? This is exactly what ATK has summarized for you below:
- Item level 960 – 1301 brings you 52,560 silver per day.
- Item level 1302 – 1414 earns you 79,200 silver per day.
- Item level 1415 – 1490 brings you 93,600 silver per day.
As you continue your dailies, you’ll get enough bound materials to keep leveling up your alt, and then your alts can generate gold. Here are some of the key thresholds for reference:
- 1325 – 1340 – Abyss Dungeon Normal Gold, 1340 Chaos Dungeon, 79,200 Silver
- 1370 – Argos + Abyss Dungeon Hard Gold 1370 Chaos Dungeon, 79,200 Silver
- 1415 – Argos + Valtan Normal Gold. 1415 Chaos Dungeon, Deskaluda, 93,600 silver
- However, this requires you to create decent engravings.
Actively playing multiple characters in Lost Ark earns more silver, gold, and resources.

- Deskaluda – a 3-4 minute fight.

- This is the GgstSt where you can experience the character’s “true late game” with full relic gear and accessories. This is the GgstSt you should experience before deciding to progress with your main character, as progressing to experience new content will be significantly more expensive.
- That’s where most of my characters are parked, and that’s where Deskaluda gives me a 2-3 minute full relic fight.
- Any GgstSt above 1445 is considered a principal investment. This category is for fewer than six characters because only six characters can earn weekly gold. I do not recommend other characters above this level, as you could be overwhelmed by dailies and content.
