Marvel's Spider-Man: Remastered: Currently #2 on the Steam Sales Chart, Focus on PC Features

Marvel’s Spider-Man (from 19.98€ at buy) was an exclusive Marvel highlight for PS4 when it was released and even managed to win gold as a remaster on PS5. Now PC gamers can look forward to Spidey: The action-adventure is currently number 2 on the Steam charts.

Great demand on Steam

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, which will be released on August 12th on Steam, is currently the second best seller on Valve’s digital game store. Only the fluffy cat adventure Stray (to test) can currently stand up to Spidey.

In view of this success, Sony’s strategy of gradually releasing its exclusive console hits on the PC seems to be paying off. God of War and Horizon: Zero Dawn already had respectable successes, with God of War currently being able to put down the best PC launch of a PlayStation brand.

Exclusive PC features

In a new trailer, Insomniac and implementation developer Nixxes present the features and benefits of the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Among other things, the technology will be drilled – there should be better shadows, support for ultrawide displays, the improved raytracing reflections already known from the PS5 version and an unlimited frame rate.

DLSS and DLAA are also supported on Nvidia RTX series cards. In addition, the DualSense controller should be natively supported on the PC.
