Gotham Knights: Batman is "really dead" and the Joker isn't in it

Batman is dead. That is the premise of Gotham Knights. And nothing should change about that.

Neither in the middle of the game nor at the end, stressed Creative Director Patrick Redding once again at San Diego Comic-Con.

It’s not about Batman

The only glimpse of Batman is during the opening sequence, where he dies. Then Robin, Red Hood, Nightwing and Batgirl come into focus.

According to Redding, Batman also remains dead. No tricks, no surprise appearance. Apart from that, you won’t see the joker in the game either. However, Redding did not rule out the possibility of Harley Quinn appearing in Gotham Knights.

More Gotham Knights news:

And what about the Riddler? According to Redding, there is “exactly one” Riddler question mark throughout the game.

Gotham Knights will be released on October 25, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
