Hard West 2: Part Two will be released on August 4th

Hard West 2, the sequel to the tactical action role-playing game from the developers Ice Code Games, is coming out in a few weeks. Publisher Good Shepherd Entertainment announces this in a trailer.

It should be in less than 14 days, then we can start the journey to the American West, which comes to our PC via Steam and GOG. This time, the main character, Carter, goes in search of the legendary ghost train that is said to be carrying untold riches in the form of a pot of gold.

The second part of the round tactics hit celebrates its release on August 4th, but the trailer gives us a little foretaste of Hard West 2 in advance: The focus is on some of the human and supernatural opponents that we are supposed to encounter in the game. One of those is Shadow Blackheart, whose curses are at least as dangerous as the poisonous sputum of the demon Hellspawn.

The game’s “sprawling, character-driven story” was penned by New York Times bestselling author Matt Forbeck. The characters are even given some more familiar voices in Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series), Darien Sills-Evans (Days Gone, League of Legends) and Adam Gifford (The Colony, Batman: Hush). BAFTA Award winner Jason Graves, who previously worked on Dead Space and Tomb Raider, will provide the game’s soundtrack.
