Happy Friday, it’s time for our newscast! In the 14th episode, Judith and I brought you a lot of exciting news and even a trade fair report! Judith was on the TwitchCon 2022. She tells me what it’s like in Amsterdam, why TwitchCon is also important for gaming and which panels she found particularly exciting. But this little trip wasn’t everything.

In this episode we face a lot of announcements about already released titles like the action game No More Heroes 3, announced titles still to come like Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 or brand new games like the MMO Soulframe. Here we’re wondering if the controls of No More Heroes without a Wii Mote or Joy-Cons really hit the spot like they do with them – or if it ultimately doesn’t matter. Also not unimportant were the questions as to whether the Warframe makers were able to create a world through the first scenes shown that sweeps us away and whether the already known images from Bloodlines 2 are still relevant at all.

There was also a need for discussion about the new cover of FIFA 23. Here the first footballerin be featured on FIFA’s front page, but only in certain regions. And while we’re on the subject of debating, what would we rather do than Return to Monkey Island? The graphic style makes for a hustle and bustle, but there was still a new scene to marvel at recently. How well did our point-and-click expert Judith actually get used to the new style?

The fog is as dense as the information on the release of PlatinumGames’ Project GG. But if you look really closely, you’ll see a giant kaiju and a giant hero!

We’re ending this newscast with something nice: cheer for the unexpected announcement of Yakuza 8. Ichiban returns with his turn-based battles, but a whole new city awaits! Which one could that be? And PlatinumGames also unexpectedly surprised me in a positive way: there is finally another sign of life from Project GG! This is the first project that PlatinumGames announced after their collaboration with Tencent. In Project GG I can finally look forward to good Kaijus and an in-house engine!!
