Genshin Impact Developers Working On Action RPG – Announce Beta

Chinese developer mihoYo/HoYoverse is famous for the game Genshin Impact. Now they are working on a new anime RPG named Zenless Zone Zero’s and will start a beta test on August 5, 2022.

What kind of game is this? Zenless Zone Zero‘s is an action shooter that aims to play in an open world. At first glance, the anime RPG is reminiscent of Persona 5, which is also an action-packed role-playing game. Zenless Zone Zero‘s throws you into the city of New Eridu, which you can explore and fight enemies there. The game world is said to be “alive and paranormal”.

There are labyrinths to overcome, so probably some kind of dungeon. The homepage states that you can enter it with your “Squad”, so multiplayer cannot be ruled out.

Alternatively, squad could mean that you have different characters on the team, all of which you operate yourself, as is the case with Genshin Impact. Here is an overview of the best characters in Genshin Impact.

There is currently no further information about the gameplay. That will probably change with the beta.

How can I join the beta? If you want to take part, you have to hurry. Until the evening of July 27th, you can visit the website and click on the “Sign Up” button in the upper right corner. You’ll need to provide your email address and ask a few questions about your interests and games you’ve played.

You will then receive an email with a code to verify yourself. You will also be informed via email whether you will be there.
