New Anime MMORPG Reminiscent of Genshin Impact – Excites Fans with Surprising Release Announcement
The MMORPG Tower of Fantasy (PC/ Android/ iOS) surprisingly announced its release date. On Twitter, players are excited to be able to play the MMORPG soon.
What is Tower of Fantasy? At first glance, Tower of Fantasy is reminiscent of Genshin Impact, but it relies on many of its own ideas. While Genshin Impact is an action RPG where you can occasionally team up with other players, Tower of Fantasy is a true MMORPG.
Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG with a colorful sci-fi world, an active combat system and gacha mechanics in weapons and avatars. So if you want new characters or weapons, you have to rely on chance. This should be especially off-putting for those of you who haven’t warmed to Genshin Impact’s gacha system.

Tower of Fantasy will be released on August 10, 2022
When is the release? The developers of Tower of Fantasy announced on Twitter that the game will officially release on August 10, 2022 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
For us in Germany, this means that you can only start the game on August 11th. Because 8 p.m. Eastern Time (EDT) is 2 a.m. for us.
Where can I play the MMORPG? Tower of Fantasy will be released simultaneously on multiple platforms. You can play the game on the following devices:
- Windows PC (Steam and Epic as well as your own client)
- Mobile devices with Android or iOS.
According to the developer and the official website, you can play with other platforms. If you prefer to gamble on your cell phone, then you can be on the go with users who prefer to install the game on their PC.
However, we cannot tell you whether you will then have to compete against PC players in PvP with your mobile phone and thus have any disadvantages. That will be revealed at the release.

How is the community reacting? In any case, the users on Twitter are enthusiastic that they will soon be able to plunge into the colorful world of the planet Aida.
Some users even hope that the game will also get a PS5 version after a successful release. So far, however, nothing is known about a version for Xbox and PS4/ PS5.
