New World’s summer update finally has a date – fans are excited that it’s coming so early after all

The Summer Medleyfaire update of Amazon’s MMORPG New World is supposed to bring some new content. Now it finally has a release date and fans are happy that it’s coming soon.

When will the update appear? The New World summer update is scheduled to be released on July 28, 2022. According to Amazon Games, the server interruption starts at 2:00 p.m. German time. The downtime should then last 2 hours.

The update is therefore expected to be online around 4:00 p.m. German time.

What is this update? With the big summer update, New World gets a new dungeon, the dungeon finder and musical instruments.

The new Summer Medleyfaire event will also be included in the update. Through the event, you can earn new emotes, skins for your armor with a heavy metal look, and many other rewards.

What else is included in the update? The New World Summer Update has a few highlights for players to look forward to. We at MeinMMO summarize some of the most important innovations for you:

• Five musical instruments with 31 songs to collect. The songs grant you and the listening buffs for 30 to 90 minutes.
• Over 150 perks on equipment will be reworked, either to make them more useful or to remove bugs.
• A new event for anglers running throughout the summer
• Heavy revision of the dungeons including dungeon finder

What are the players saying about the update? The “New World” players were positively surprised by the announcement that the update would be released in July. Many didn’t seem to have believed in such an early release and are glad that it worked out after all and are looking forward to the innovations.
