The Sims 4 has been on the market since 2014 and continues to receive updates. The “High School Years” expansion is brand new, with which you can send your Sims through an adolescent ordeal. However, an update leading up to the expansion causes trouble – your Sims want to date family members.

Your Sims can now go to high school, graduate, and relive the entire series of awkward school experiences from your adolescence.

But it’s not just embarrassing at school. Your family reunions could also be a bit strange in the near future due to a glitch.

What is this glitch? More and more players are reporting that their Sims would like to have family members as “girlfriends” or “boyfriends”.

The strange error appeared after a preparatory update for the new expansion “High School Years” was deployed.

On reddit, for example, a Sims grandmother wants to seduce her son Vernon. This is commented on with “grandmother has a dark side” (via reddit.com). There are also “Game of Thrones” allusions to the lewd House of Lannister.

A user reports to support that this error may have been in the game since release. But now this “inclination” of some Sims is apparently also triggered by the Emotions system. Above that, interactions are suggested that improve the mood of the Sims.

The strange error has already been noticed by the developers and a solution is already in the works (via twitter.com). Incidentally, the tweet also confirmed that the bug with rapidly aging Sims is being worked on.
