Diablo 4: Blizzard puts off fans who hoped for an early beta
Diablo 4 beta starting soon? Unfortunately no, says Blizzard.
Previously, some discovered files in the Battle.net launcher and a new trial version in the PlayStation database raised hopes among fans.
Not for the public
However, Rod Fergusson, general manager of the Diablo franchise, destroyed these hopes with a statement on Twitter.
“Hi everyone, I’m pleased with all the energy and excitement surrounding the Diablo 4 Beta that has surfaced on Battle.net,” the statement said. “But you should know that this is an internal test. Sorry! We will be doing more public testing in the future as we continue our journey towards release in 2023!”
