Maneater: Apex Edition releases September 30th

Developer and publisher Tripwire Interactive and co-publishing partner Deep Silver are pleased to announce that Maneater Apex Edition will be available in stores on September 30, 2022. Players experience true ShaRkPG mayhem with the Maneater Apex Edition, which includes both the Maneater base game and the Maneater: Truth Quest DLC expansion.

Maneater is a single player game in an open world where the player is the shark. You start as a young bull shark baby who is completely on his own after the bloody slaughter of his mother in the vast oceans and must survive by eating his way through the marine ecosystem as quickly as possible.

The young shark faces numerous enemies – both human and animal. By hunting down the most useful food resources, the cub’s growth and development is accelerated and, with a little skill, pushed far beyond the limits of what is naturally possible, allowing the player to tailor the adventure to their playstyle.

The successful development from the young bull shark baby to the impressive monster shark enables the wild hunt for the unscrupulous fishermen, who soon have to take responsibility for the death of the shark mother just as bloodily. The way from a small baby to the legendary predator of the seas is long – and not easy.

The Maneater: Truth Quest DLC takes players to a brand new island off the coast of Port Clovis – and is packed with new developments, challenges, wildlife and more! Players once again take control of the sea’s apex predator and feast, explore and evolve to the top of the food chain while uncovering a vast conspiracy.
