Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – The official date for the 2nd Booster Pass wave is set
We had to wait a bit, but now Nintendo officially has the launch date for the 2nd wave of the Booster Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for Nintendo Switch. And it’s not long until publication.
When is the release? It starts already on August 4th.
2nd Booster Wave brings 8 new routes
In addition to classic N64 and DS routes, a new route awaits you with Ice Cream Escapade, which, as can be seen in the trailer, could hardly be more colorful and sugar-sweet. Here are all the courses included in the 2nd wave, divided into their respective cups:

- Kalimari Desert (N64)
- Waluigi Pinball (DS)
Propeller Cup

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe introduces the second wave of the Booster Track Pass
All information about the Booster Pass
By the end of 2023, Nintendo plans to provide Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with a total of six waves of new and revised tracks from older parts of the series. It all started in March 2022 with tracks like Toad’s track from Mario Kart 7 or the coconut promenade from Mario Kart Wii. You can read the test report by colleague Tobi here:

Booster Pass with Nintendo Switch Online: If you don’t want to spend 24.99 euros for all 48 routes of the Booster Pass, you can alternatively use a Nintendo Switch Online membership.
