The war in Ukraine has been going on for almost half a year. And of course it has negative effects on pretty much all areas of affluent life. The uniformity of world citizens that was so much invoked at the beginning (which never really existed, let’s be honest) has now been exhausted. With the real possibility of freezing in winter, high cooking oil prices and rising fuel costs, solidarity with the war victims suddenly stops very quickly. According to current surveys, more than 30 percent of Germans are against further sanctions, in the new federal states even more than 50 percent, if the penalties result in problems in Germany’s energy supply and/or economic performance. The jacket is closer to Michel than the pants. Unfortunately, this openly displayed hypocrisy can also be observed in the video game industry.

The ongoing war not only has an impact on life and limb, but of course also affects the game developments of the countries involved.
