No Man’s Sky: The Polestar Expedition has begun, bringing you new rewards

The eighth expedition in Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky has begun.

In it you embark on a journey through the galaxy as the captain of a heavy freighter.

This is what awaits you in Polestar

“During the voyage, travelers will repair the freighter’s bespoke technology and unravel the mysterious circumstances that have led to its current predicament,” it said.

If you have reached all the required milestones of the expedition, you can complete it early and convert your game into a normal mode save. When Polestar ends, this conversion will happen automatically.

Polestar rewards can then be claimed across all saves from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion. The expedition will run for a total of around six weeks.

The rewards you can get for doing this include new posters, decorations, a cloak, a new pet, a new engine effect, and more.
