The Sims 4: Annoying Bug is back and killing your Sims
After the recent update for The Sims 4, a known and annoying bug that kills your Sims has returned.
Whether you are affected depends on the settings of your current game.
Aging faster
The aging bug will cause your Sims to age every time the scene changes, such as a loading screen, going to the Create-A-Sim screen, looking at the world map, and so on. Things you usually do more often.
Your Sims will thus grow older quickly and then have a date with the Grim Reaper faster than they and you would like.
To be on the safe side, play a game with your Sims lifespan set to normal. Aging in said situations occurs when a long lifespan has been established.
Who the lifespan on an affected game set to shortincidentally rejuvenates his Sims through the same process.
Therefore, Maxis also recommends temporarily starting a new game with the normal lifespan: “We are currently investigating cases where Sims in saves with short or long lifespans auto-age. We recommend temporarily playing with the default normal lifespan or adding new saves create while we work on a solution.”
Hey Simmers! We are currently investigating instances involving Sims auto-aging up in saves using the Short or Long lifespan. We recommend temporarily playing in or creating new saves with the default/“normal” lifespan, as we work towards a solution.
