Fire Emblem creator’s new strategy RPG is now available on Steam
If you’re a Fire Emblem fan, Vestaria Saga 2: The Sacred Sword of Silvanister might be worth a look.
The fantasy strategy RPG comes from none other than Shouzou Kaga, the creator of Fire Emblem. You can now get it on Steam with full English translation.
Once a hobby project
The Vestaria Saga games originally started out as a hobby project, created by a team of volunteers using free software called SRPG Studio, and released for free in Japan.
Publisher Dangen Entertainment took the chance and made an English translation to release the game for 16.80 euros Steam for sale.
This also means it still has the production values of a hobby project. Having said that, getting a new strategy RPG from the creators of Fire Emblem is always interesting, isn’t it?
As you would expect, you send your units around a map on a turn-based basis and make decisions about weapons, armor and attacks. It is a direct continuation of the story of the first part.
