Half-Life 2: The Mod Through the City is a sequel to Opposing Force
The Through the City mod for the Half-Life 2 shooter promises a full sequel to the Opposing Force expansion.
Good to while away the wait for Half-Life 3. Haha, sorry, it had to be.

In any case, there is now not only a new trailer for the said mod, but also a playable demo. In it, Adrian Shephard and the G-Man return.
Modder Kajlo worked together with others on this mod, of which you can already play the first 40 minutes. The full release is planned for 2023.

The story revolves around Shephard being resurrected by the G-Man and brought to City 17 just prior to the events of Half-Life 2.
All weapons from Opposing Force are included, including the Desert Eagle, and the green interface from the original is also adapted.
also dr Colette Green is back, along with original voice actress Lani Minella, who you know from Half-Life: Decay (a PS2-only prequel). In Through the City, she is a central character that helps tie Opposing Force and Mod together.
