Outer Wilds is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S

Alex will soon have another reason to play through Outer Wilds again, as the game will soon be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The version adapted for the current-gen consoles will be released on September 15, 2022, as announced by Annapurna Interactive.

What is changing on the new platforms?

The new version will be released as a free upgrade for existing owners. Among other things, you can expect improvements such as an increased frame rate of 60 fps.

In addition, the implementation for the Nintendo Switch is still in progress, as developer Mobius Digital emphasizes.
