Pokémon Go: Niantic is changing Community Day in August

Niantic is making a change this upcoming Community Day with Galarian Zigzags in Pokémon Go.

The community takes place in August and the change affects the Lure Module bonus.

What will be different

Previously, if Trainers caught enough Pokémon with a single Lure Module, it was intended that even more Galarian Zigzags would spawn around a Pokéstop.

This bonus is completely eliminated. Instead, if you’ve caught enough Pokémon with a single Lure Module, you’ll get a 4x bonus to Stardust when catching near that Pokéstop for 30 minutes.

Note that this bonus is not in addition to the already triple Stardust bonus on capture that applies throughout Community Day. The quadruple bonus then replaces the triple bonus at that moment.

But: You can then use a Star Piece to double the bonus. Well worth it if you want to collect stardust!
