The new field research tasks for August 2022 are here. We’ll tell you which quests are worthwhile in Pokémon GO this month – and which are not.
San Francisco – In Pokémon GO there are field research tasks that Trainers can solve. The quests ask players to catch certain Pokémon, use a specific throwing technique, or move around extensively. As a reward, there are often special monsters that can also be caught as Shiny. We’ll tell you what field research tasks await you in Pokémon GO in August 2022.

Pokémon GO: field research in August 2022 – this is how you get the tasks
Field research obtained: Obtaining Field Research in Pokémon GO is simple. All you have to do is spin PokéStops. If there is enough space, you will be assigned a new field research after you have rotated. There is one task per day per stop. So if you want different quests, you have to walk to different PokéStops.
Maximum three tasks: In Pokémon GO, Trainers can own a maximum of three Field Researches at a time. As soon as the task has been solved, the reward must be collected. Only then is a slot free again and a new field research can be picked up at a PokéStop. If necessary, you can also delete each quest manually. In addition, there are now “bonus tasks” that are provided with a green frame. These can appear in addition to three existing field researches and will not be distributed through PokéStops.

All catch quests: The Pokémon GO field research in July 2022 wasn’t particularly amazing. Many of the quests were only partially worth it. But that could be different in August. This is all the Pokémon GO field research related to catch:

These tasks are worthwhile: This month’s Pokémon GO field research on catching is sobering. Really rare Pokémon are not included this time. There are no special monsters for shiny hunters either.
Pokémon GO: Field Research in August 2022 – all tasks related to throwing
All throwing quests: This Pokémon GO Field Research is all about throwing. You have to master a certain type of throws or create a series here. These are the quests related to throwing in August 2022:

These tasks are worthwhile: Little has changed in the Pokémon GO field research on throwing since July 2022. Only the quest with Donphan is new. The Ground-type Pokémon is a stable attacker unless you have better attackers like Stalobor. Also, the quest with Pandir is worthwhile, since the monster can only be caught in this way.
Pokémon GO: Field Research in August 2022 – all tasks related to fighting
All Combat Quests: In Pokémon GO you can of course fight a lot of battles: against other trainers, rocket bullies or in raids. Also in August there are field researches that call on you to fight:

These tasks are worthwhile: Unfortunately, none of the combat field research in August 2022 is really worthwhile. If you are still looking for Shiny Mogelbaum, you should take the quest in Pokémon GO with you, as it is relatively easy to solve.
Pokémon GO: Field Research in August 2022 – all tasks related to friendship
All Friendship Quest: Everything here revolves around friendship with other Pokémon GO trainers or with your buddy Pokémon. These quests are often relatively easy to solve and sometimes come with great rewards:

These tasks are worthwhile: Most of the tasks in the friendship quest are still worthwhile. Teddiursa is a popular Shiny and the task is quickly solved. So if you don’t have the green teddy bear yet, you should definitely solve the field research in Pokémon GO. The quest with Kiesling is also worthwhile. The end development Brockoloss is a very good rock attacker.
Pokémon GO: Field research in August 2022 – all other tasks
All other quests: Here you will find all Pokémon GO field research that cannot be assigned to any of the other topics. These include e.g. B. the hatching of eggs or the further development of Pokémon.

These tasks are worthwhile: In August 2022, only the one with Mantax will be worthwhile in this Pokémon GO field research. The monster has only been available as a shiny since February 2022 and is therefore one of the 25 rarest shinys in Pokémon GO. So far there have not been many ways to catch the Shiny.
