Crunchyroll: App on Xbox 360 will be discontinued soon

The Crunchyroll app will soon be discontinued on Xbox 360 consoles.

Crunchyroll is the world’s largest publisher of anime series, available on a variety of platforms and devices. Almost a year ago, Sony acquired Crunchyroll for $1 billion.

However, Crunchyroll will soon be decommissioned on some older video game platforms.

As of August 29, the app will no longer work on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo Wii U, the company announced.

If you’re watching your anime on any of the three consoles, you’ll have less than a month before the app goes offline.

You can continue to use Crunchyroll’s offerings on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, Android, FireTV and other platforms and devices.
