A real Pokémon – what is a childhood dream for many, a hairdresser has made a reality. His TikTok, in which he turns a dog, is now going viral.
San Diego, California – Since 1996, Pokémon has been inspiring wild wishful thinking in children and adults around the world. Pretty much every Nintendo RPG player has at least once wondered what it would be like if Pokémon existed in real life. A barber from San Diego has probably had enough of wishing and fantasizing and has realized his wish for his own Pokémon. A TikTok in which he transforms his own dog is going viral on the platform.
TikTok: Barber makes dreams of fiery dog Pokémon come true – on your own poodle
Who is this barber? The dog hairdresser Gabriel Feitosa is no stranger to colorful and creative designs for his customers’ four-legged friends. He regularly shows his crazy creations on TikTok, which keep his 1.2 million followers entertained. But when dogs with funny hairstyles meet Pokémon, the potential for a viral hit is huge.
How did the transformation happen? Feitosa, the San Diego-based dog groomer, gave his poodle Edea a new look without further ado. Bright orange fur with black stripes, a large white patch on the chest and a white mane to match – it’s no longer just a dog, but a true Arcani. The transformation is recreated by Gabriel Feitosa on TikTok with a flint, just as it is necessary for the evolution from Fukano to Arkani. The white poodle lady Edea quickly turns into a stately Fire Pokémon.
For the bitch herself, the transformation doesn’t seem to be a problem. Still in his Tiktok video Feitosa states that the colors are specially developed for pets, vegan and free of toxins. Even in the dog park, the smart cut on Edea doesn’t seem to be a problem. in one additional video the dog hairdresser explains that creative dog haircuts do not represent any impairments in the socialization of dogs. As bonus material on top of that there are a few excerpts of how the “Arkani” lets off steam with other dogs.
If you want to discover an Arcani or a Fukano in the wild, you will have to rely on Pokémon GO for better or worse. While the Fire-type Pokémon doesn’t appear in any of the Pokémon GO August 2022 field research, you can always get lucky and spot Fukano, or its evolution, as a wild Pokémon.
