Pokemon Crimson is losing one of my favorite Arceus features according to the leak
Pokémon Crimson and Crimson got a lot of new information with a new trailer and also showed new features like tera crystallizing. With all the innovations, however, there also seem to be some features from the last offshoot Pokémon Legends: Arceus that will not make it into the main series.
Pokemon moves can’t be traded freely
The corresponding information comes from the well-known Twitter CentroLeaks, which has already revealed many correct news and features about the games in advance in the past. The leaked images refer to two combat features that borrow from classic mechanics of the series. Apparently, after winning Pokémon battles, the experience points are now distributed again at the end of the battle and you have to decide immediately whether a Pokémon should learn a new attack or not.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus has already managed this much better. Not only do experience points simply appear as a popup after a fight while we can continue exploring, learning new attacks is also regulated differently. A note simply appears here when a Pokémon can learn a new attack, but it does not interrupt gameplay.
In the menu we can then choose at any time which attacks our Pokémon should be able to master and even easily relearn attacks that we have already forgotten – at least for me this was one of the best features of the game and it would be sad not to see it again in the latest part.
But maybe there will at least be an option to turn on these features in Crimson and Crimson or use them in the menu, one can at least hope.

New trailer for Pokémon Crimson & Crimson takes us to the Paldea region
The new features of Crimson and Crimson
Of course, Pokémon Crimson and Crimson do not completely do without innovations. Not only does the game get co-op for up to four people for the first time, the Legendaries Koraidon or Miraidon are also there to help us from the start and serve as our means of transport.
There is also a new battle mechanic with the tera crystallization and the tera raids and the new Paldea region, the map of which already tells us a lot.
release: Pokémon Crimson will be released on November 18, 2022 exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
Would you miss any of the mechanics or are you satisfied with the classic system?
