Silent Hills in Dreams: Fan presents impressive project

It’s been seven years since Hideo Kojima and Konami announced their collaboration Silent Hills have finished. Solely pt has been released as a preview for PS4. The horror game, which would have starred actor Norman Reedus, will probably never see the light of day – as much as fans want the title to return. A fan is now presenting what could have been in his project dreams before.

Fan builds his own Silent Hills

DrJones20 has been tinkering with his version of the horror game for more than three years. While he had already created the basic structure of the game in Dreams in 2019, he used the additional time to make optimizations to the graphics and atmosphere of the project. Hobby developers have repeatedly shown their creations in the PlayStation title in the past. The fan version of Silent Hills shows once again what is possible with the construction kit in the Media Molecule game.

In the gameplay video at Reddit we get to see protagonist Norman Reedus in different areas – some of which you probably know from PT. At the same time, DrJones20 shows us what improvements have been implemented in the Dreams project in recent years. The basic structure of 2019 can be seen in the upper half of the video.
