WoW: The best villain items for Cartel Confusing Dinar
Season 4 of Shadowlands is known to be a kind of experimental laboratory for Blizzard developers. Old dungeons for the current Mythic Plus area here, affixes for raid instances there, and a lot is also daring with the loot. With Patch 9.2.7, you’ll find three new vendors in the far right corner of the Hall of Safekeeping in Oribos, offering you weapons and trinkets from long-mastered content in a pimped version for Cartel’s Confusing Dinars. Each item costs exactly one dinar.
In order to receive dinars, you must complete special tasks in the currently active Fateful Raid. You can max out three Confusing Dinars this way, and once you trade in all three coins, the merchants will disappear with all the epic stuff you didn’t want. So there is no exchange. So that you make as few bad investments as possible, we give you recommendations for the dinar exchange below.
Confusing Cartel Dinar – Assassination
Basically, we can say for now: assassins love daggers and want to accumulate as much speed and critical hit value as possible in addition to mobility. However, Versatility and Mastery don’t impact your overall damage quite as well. Keep that in mind as you delve into the three vendors’ trinkets and weapons in detail.

Which jewelry to buy?
Looking at the numerous pieces of jewelery from the three dealers, it can be said that most of them have an item level of 278 and grant you 125 points of mobility in addition to the respective effect. However, there are five exceptions that have an item level of 285, and four of these trinkets already give you 134 points of Agility as a foundation.
Option number 5, the scars of brotherly discordhas only one use effect, namely: Attach a Rune of Dominion to you, granting you power… at a price. In concrete terms, this means that the piece of jewelery provides you with a total of five rune buffs, which you use to increase your secondary values. At the same time, however, you have to deal with debuffs that, in the worst case, can even make you a spiritual healer. Decide for yourself whether you want to take the risk.
Of the other four trinkets with item level 285 are from our point of view chains of domination from the jailer (good for all situations), Dreadfire Vessel (Looted by Count Denathrius, powerful for a short time huge burst damage) and Impact of the Earthbreaker (usually available from Halondrus, great for fighting groups of enemies) strongest.
Finally, a few words about the 278 trinkets: Elegy of the Eternals can be a good choice for you if you often travel in groups whose players belong to the same pact as you. Otherwise are Chest with obtained treasures such as Salvaged Fusion Amplifier here are the strongest options for you, which in certain situations can even outperform the 285 counterparts.

Dagger for assassins
The cartel dealers offer you a total of five daggers in exchange for dinars. Only one of the filigree blades, Lihuvim’s Severing Scalpel, has the best combination of secondary stats in Haste and Critical Strike. It’s just a pity that the item level is only 278. The two 285 alternatives Observer’s Umbral Knife such as cutting edge of the night have a higher minimum and maximum damage, and thus a higher DpS value (80 DpS versus 75 DpS).
The latter weapon from Sylvanas Windrunner ultimately wins the race for us. On the one hand, the dagger looks great, on the other hand, it has an exciting equipping effect: your attacks invoke Banshee’s Blight, which gives your finishing moves a three percent chance per combo point spent to cause 2,920 shadow damage. Banshee’s Blight stacks up to four times as the target wounds.
Cartel Confusing Dinar – Lawlessness
It is well known that outlaws are not very good with a dagger in their main hand. They like swords, fist weapons, maces or axes with a lot of power, i.e. with the highest possible minimum and maximum damage. Since the special attacks are cast instantly, the Peacemaker can also be reasonably slow. For the offhand, however, the villain is spoiled for choice. In fact, daggers offer a slight advantage here, as you get more procs for your poisons with the fast blades than you would with the slower axes and the like. As for the secondary stats, Outlaws favor Versatility and Critical Strike over Haste and Mastery.
Guns, guns, guns!
We already explained it with the assassin: The item level is even more important for weapons than for jewelry. In principle, there are two clear recommendations that we can give you: Get the fist weapon salvation of domination from the Jailer for the main hand (it also gives you 70 Agility, 57 Versatility, and 35 Mastery!) and the Dagger cutting edge of the night from Sylvanas for the offhand.
As an optional insider tip, we want at least one more Cross-shaped vein shredder thrown into the room by Afflictionsmith Raznal. The Fist has a nice Equip Effect: When you are behind your enemies, have their movement restricted, or have CC effects applied to them, your attacks have a high chance of inflicting 4,770 Bleed Physical damage over 6 seconds.
According to players who have already tested two versions of the fist weapons in practice, the DoT effect should even stack if both weapon effects trigger. In fact, the effects are so strong that you can think about cutting edge of the night into the main hand and Cross-shaped vein shredder offhand – an unfamiliar weapon combination for outlaws, but one that promises high damage.
The best jewels
In principle, we could list here all the trinkets that we have recommended for all assassins. Impact of the Earthbreaker and chains of domination are about solid options. But at this point we want to do it again Chest with obtained treasures do some advertising.
Although it only has an item level of 278, you can briefly cause enormous damage with the weapons from the chest. If possible, get the ax out of the chest, thanks to which you apply a short-term DoT within a time window of 25 seconds through critical hits, or the magic wand, which provides you with an enormous damage peak in one fell swoop, which can also critically hit.
