Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta dates officially confirmed

The upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta finally got some accurate timings too.

As you know it from the past few years, there are a few differences depending on the platform and so on.

Who gets to play first?

The Modern Warfare 2 beta is spread over two weekends, with some early access for PlayStation players and early access as well.

Sound complicated? Here is an overview:

1st Weekend (PlayStation Exclusive)

• September 16-17, 2022 – PlayStation (Early Access)
• September 18-20, 2022 – PlayStation (Open Beta)

Weekend 2 (Cross-Play Beta)

• September 22-23, 2022 – Xbox, PC (Early Access), PlayStation (Open Beta)
• September 24-26, 2022 – All Platforms (Open Beta)

For playing the beta, you should receive a number of in-game rewards, which you will receive when you launch Modern Warfare 2 later.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28, 2022 for PC, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
