gamescom 2022: Watch out, you can get your ticket at half price

After a two-year break on site, gamescom opens from August 24th to 28th, 2022 the gates again. Since there are only two weeks left until the start of the video game fair, the organizer Koelnmesse is trying to attract more visitors.

Since the prices have risen sharply this year and many publishers such as Sony and Nintendo have canceled the fair, some fair fans are apparently still a bit undecided. It is all the more gratifying that a third-party provider is currently offering a strong discount campaign.

currently offers Groupon offers a deal on its website where you can save 50 percent on a regular day pass. A day ticket, which gives you admission from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the week, costs only 12.50 euros instead of 25 euros. The weekend ticket only costs 15.25 euros instead of 30.50 euros.

You can see all the bargains here:

  • Thursday 08/25/2022
    Day ticket (10 a.m. to 8 p.m.) for €12.50
Reduced day ticket (10am-8pm) for €9
    Evening ticket (4-8 p.m.) for €4.50

    Day ticket (9am-8pm) for €15.25
Reduced day ticket (9am-8pm) for €11.50

Why only Thursday and Sunday? Groupon is currently only offering a deal for these two days under “Choose your date”. Although the tickets for Friday are listed in the description, they may already be sold out. That would not be surprising, after all, Friday and Saturday are among the most popular days. So you should think carefully about whether the tickets on Thursday or Sunday are worth it for you, even if the deal seems tempting.
