Tekken 8 will probably be announced in December

Tekken mod for Elden Ring looks so good, players think it's official (1)

Yesterday, players around the world got to watch the Tekken 7 Grand Finals at EVO 2022. However, fans of the fighting game could not only look forward to some entertaining matches, but also to some new announcements about the Tekken franchise.

All sorts of Tekken news

On the one hand, a new balance update for Tekken 7 is to be released on August 17 this year, which will revise some of the game’s characters. The update is also supposed to bring “New Tactics”, but what exactly these are is not yet known. Details on the update will follow soon.

In addition, the Tekken World Tour returns, where players can once again prove their skills. The new tournament will of course use the new balance patch, so it will be interesting to see which characters will become favorites after this.

It is probably much more interesting that we may have received a first teaser for Tekken 8. In a short clip, we got to see the original ending of Tekken, which then concludes with an updated model of Kazuya and the text “Get Ready”. While it’s not certain that this is actually a sequel, Tekken 7 has been around for a few years now, so a sequel would definitely make sense. After all, Street Fighter will soon be getting a completely new offshoot.
