WoW WotLK Classic: Blizzard should definitely clarify these questions in a timely manner
On September 27, 2022 is known to appear with WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic the remake of the most successful MMO expansion of all time (in terms of the number of paying subscribers). It is also known that the contents of the Pre-launch phase partly already on the public test server have landed and that the pre-patch should land on the live servers about two to six weeks before the launch.
We were able to gain further insights from the ongoing beta phase for WotLK Classic, as well as from some Blizzard posts that have appeared in the last few weeks and months – for example about the Quests that, unlike before, will reward you with Emblems of Heroism. Or which Changes to WotLK Classic Arena PvP are planned.
Finally announce the “Wrath Pass”.
Despite all the information, we still have a number of questions on the list that the Blizzard developers have not yet commented on. And not only are we hoping for answers and details, but also other classic fans like the well-known one Youtuber Scottejaye. For example, he would like to finally have information about the paid character boost for WotLK Classic, which Blizzard announced some time ago, and he would also like to know if there will be something like the “Dark Portal Pass” from TBC Classic again.
That “Dark Portal Pass” was announced in detail shortly before the TBC Classic pre-patch was made available on the PTR. The PTR for the pre-launch phase of WotLK Classic is also already live, but so far there is no sign of the announcement of a new character boost pack. In addition, all of the content from the Dark Portal Pass would then be available when the TBC Classic pre-patch phase started. So until there is an announcement, the pre-launch phase of WotLK Classic cannot start. Or do you really think that Blizzard will forgo the chance to earn quick money with a few in-game goodies?! A hint: Dataminer already have Notes on Wrath Pass found.
What exactly are the stages of WotLK Classic?
Unlike when WoW was announced (buy now ) Classic and TBC Classic, the Blizzard developers for WotLK Classic have not yet put down a concrete phase plan. It is clear that Naxxramas, the Obsidian Sanctum and the Eye of Eternity belong to phase 1. Ulduar is then phase 2, in phase 3 we dive into the Argent Tournament and in phase 4 we take on the Lich King in Icecrown Citadel. Phase 5 then becomes a rather disappointing finale in the Ruby Sanctum. Sounds logical right? But it hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. And when will the level 80 version of Onyxia, which was pulled out of the moth box as an anniversary goodie, come out?
In addition, of course, a lot has changed on a small scale in the WotLK Classic patches. For example, adjustments have been made to the professions to better balance them. Like in TBC Classic and WoW Classic, will there be selected new features this time that only came with later patches and shouldn’t be available at launch this time either?
When will we finally get the details on the Tier 1 servers?
In mid-June, the Blizzard developers announced the restart servers for WotLK Classic. The framework conditions for these servers read as follows:
- All players start with new characters at level 1.
- You may not upgrade your character on Realms for Fresh Start for at least 90 days.
- Fresh start realms will not be available for character transfer destinations for at least 90 days.
- Death knights cannot be created on these realms without a level 55 character on the same realm.
What is Blizzard planning for WotLK Classic’s Heroic Dungeons?
Also in June 2022, Blizzard announced that one Adjustments for the dungeon area of WotLK Classic plans. The heroic dungeons should ultimately remain relevant throughout the expansion. Therefore, there should be new challenges over time that offer valuable rewards, according to the developers. But what does it exactly mean? Maybe the designers know. Maybe not. No idea. Nobody talks to us. “sniff”
When is patch 3.3 quest tracking coming?
Unlike patch 3.3’s dungeon finder, Blizzard developers want quest tracking, which was implemented on the live servers at the time with the same patch, “Sometime” also add to the version of WotLK Classic. But when is “sometime”? So far, at least every trace of the interface adjustments is missing in the beta and on the PTR. Likewise, quest objectives in the world are not yet highlighted with the well-known glitter. does it stay that way
What does it look like: Do you have any questions about WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic on your note that Blizzard should answer as soon as possible? Do you maybe even make it dependent on some of the answers whether you want to play the new edition of the Northrend adventure? Tell us in the comments!
