In The First Descendant, players take on the role of a “Descendant.” The characters have unknown powers and are on a mission to protect the continent of Ingris against invaders. As the journey progresses, the player character grows in power, while missions and side stories uncover where the mysterious descendants come from in the first place.

The First Descendant will be launched as a free-to-play game. Users can take on the role of different characters that have different skills. Together, with up to four games, huge boss monsters can be fought, as the developers write on The First Descendant’s Steam page. Individual body parts of the bosses should be able to be targeted and destroyed. With new and combined weapons, the characters should become stronger and stronger. There should also be items that improve the characters or even unlock new skills.

A release date for The First Descendant is not yet known. However, those interested will soon be able to take a look at the third-person shooter. Nexon announced a delayed beta on Steam for October. From October 20th to October 26th, players should be able to get a taste of the upcoming title.
