Additional candies are also awarded for good, great, and fabulous throws. Trainers level 31 and above get a chance to get XL Candy when catching monsters with a Good, Great, or Fabulous Throw.

In addition, Pokémon GO Fest Sapporo unlocked Hyper Bonuses for Bug Crawling in Pokémon GO. A new Shiny in Pokémon GO was also discovered there, but it will not be possible to catch it in Germany for the time being. For this, trainers can catch Vegimak worldwide. Additionally, Unown T will appear in Raid Battles, and there is a Timed Research that requires players to catch lots of Bug Pokémon. All bonuses at a glance:

  • Double XP on Good, Great, and Fabulous throws
  • Extra candies on Good, Great, and Fabulous throws
  • Increased chance of XL Candy on Good, Great, and Fabulous throws
  • Unown T in Raids
