iPhone 14 Pro Max: Comparison with iPhone 13 shows larger camera bump [Gerücht]

iPhone 14 Pro: More evidence of always-on display

from Rhonda Bachman
If you believe the rumours, the Pro models of the upcoming iPhone 14 will have a 48-megapixel camera. New images of the rear camera now allegedly show how much the iPhone 14 Pro Max’s camera hump has grown compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

Apple is still silent about the next device in the iPhone series. Insiders and analysts have a lot to report about the upcoming iPhone 14. As early as March 2022, the well-informed Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo assumed that the more expensive iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models would have a 48-megapixel camera. Various new images are said to show a comparison to the iPhone 13 Pro Max from last year.

Pictures show enormous enlargement of the camera

The images shown should show an iPhone 14 Pro Max shown next to the 2021 iPhone 13 Pro Max. In comparison with the iPhone 13, the changed size of the camera is particularly clear. Not only has the camera hump grown in height. The arrangement of the lenses has been extended in all directions.

Schematic representations of the iPhone 14 are said to have leaked as early as February. According to these plans, the camera hump on the iPhone 14 Pro Max is around 4.17 millimeters thick, compared to 3.6 millimeters on the Phone 13 Pro Max. In addition, the hump has been increased in all directions by about five percent.

A picture of a screen protector for the iPhone 14 Pro is said to have been published last week. There was not a notch on it, like on the previous iPhone models. Instead, there was a dual-hole punch design that has been used on many Android smartphones for several years.
