Cosplay of Zero Suit Samus puts an end to Metroids

Metroid fans currently have to be patient. But that doesn’t stop hard-working cosplayers from being inspired by the popular series. This includes the YouTuber “lara6683“, which is best known for covering video game songs. But recently, the musician snagged a zero-suit Samus costume and posed with it in a quite unusual location for the character. Eventually, the photos showing her in the cosplay subreddit, was not shot against a sci-fi backdrop, but in an urban, graffitied setting that provides an unusual contrast to the Metroid series protagonist’s costume.

Minimalist approach

Of course, the Zero Suit doesn’t come with as many details as other video game garments. However, thanks to her hairstyle, among other things, Lara undoubtedly benefits from the fact that she looks strikingly similar to Samus. As a prop, the YouTuber simply hands over a gun, like the one used in Super Smash Bros. or in Metroid: Other M could have seen. This minimalism combined with the urban setting ensures a coherent overall picture.
