WoW: Fateful world boss Mor’geth drops better loot
In addition to dungeons and raids in the current fourth season of WoW: Shadowlands, the world bosses are also fateful. Depending on which raid is currently active, the enhanced world boss variant will also rotate, which will reward you with better loot than the normal version if you win.
With the new, fourth season of WoW: Shadowlands, the developers are not only introducing the so-called fateful Mythic+ dungeons and raids, but also fateful world bosses. These new world boss versions are more powerful than their normal counterparts, but also drop significantly better loot. If you knock out one of the fateful bosses, you have the chance of items with item level 285.
Fateful world boss rotation depends on the currently active raid
Which fateful world boss is currently active is directly related to the rotation of fateful raids. The developers write in an official blue post: “While a raid is fateful, the item level of rewards from world bosses linked to that raid will be increased. Mortanis, Oranomonos, Nurgash, and Valinor are linked to Castle Nathria, Mor’geth to the Sanctum of Command, and Antros to the Mausoleum of the First.“
World boss Mor’geth, active this week (starting August 10, 2022), can be found in the east of the Maw near Desmotaeron on a platform. Teleport to the beast labyrinth via Ve’nari’s Anima River teleporter or ride there from Korthia to get to the boss as quickly as possible.
The boss is considered one of the most annoying world bosses in Shadowlands by WoW fans, which is likely to get worse as his skills increase. Prepare accordingly when confronting him. Mor’geth drops various armor pieces, including pants, belts, gloves and bracers, as well as a mastery trinket.
