WoW: Sanctum of Dominion Raid Affixes Overview
The WoW raid Sanctum of Dominion opens as the second Shadowlands raid in the Fateful version. That means you play bosses with raid affixes (fateful powers) again. We’ll show you which boss has which affix active.
In this ID of WoW: Shadowlands (until August 17, 2022) the Sanctum of Dominion can be played as a fateful raid for the first time. In Fateful Mode, old Shadowlands raids are brought up to the current difficulty level and given affixes. But then there’s also that Higher item level loot.
Unlike in Mythic Plus, each Fateful Affix (Powers of Fate) is a kiss/curse effect. If you deal with the four affixes in combat, you will get a buff, if not, the raid will take damage. One of these affixes is active per boss. Below you can see which boss has which Fateful Power active in the Sanctum of Dominion.

The affixes are all easy to use. At the protoform barrier, damage dealers break the absorption barrier or healers heal up the add. You have to click the Chaotic Essence several times for mini-adds to appear, which you can quickly do with AoE once everyone has spawned.
Some coordination is required for the Spark of Creation: Players with this debuff must be cleaned and then stand in the golden area that appears as a result. Interrupt reconfiguration emitters and either let a death knight pull the add to the group or gather with the emitter shortly before this add dies to benefit from its buff.
