WoW: The best Paladin items for Confusing Dinar of the Cartel
A lot is changing in WoW with the start of Season 4. The developers are experimenting with lots of new ways to keep the existing content fresh for a while and thus shorten the waiting time for Dragonflight. This also includes the new Fateful Raids, in which you have to re-box the already known bosses with new affixes. The old items with a significantly increased item level beckon as rewards.
You can also buy a total of three items from the bosses’ loot tables from the dealer as part of a quest series. For this you have to defeat some of the fateful bosses, but you can cheat your possible loot bad luck. Since you can buy a maximum of three items, these should of course be well selected. So we sat down and found the most important items for all three Paladin ways of playing.
Confusing Cartel Dinar – Holy Paladin
Unfortunately, as a healer, the choice isn’t as great as with other playstyles. Because most of the items offered are geared towards DpS specs. In addition, there were no particularly good pieces of jewelry for healers in the three Shadowlands raids. Your first choice should therefore be to increase your intelligence as much as possible – and you do that in the form of a new weapon.

The decision as to which weapon you acquire is based on the secondary values. But since these are quite close together, all weapons are relatively good in principle – if only because of the large amount of intelligence. The one-handed sword Ruthless mind slasher offers the universally strongest values with speed and mastery. So you should choose it. If you already have a strong weapon, then you are more likely to use the jewelry listed below for the first two dinars. Attention: the weapon genesis spindle might sound good. Since you flash of light practically never used, the mace is by no means to be recommended. The secondary stats lost as a result are too heavy.

Actually, you would like to continue as a paladin healer Irrepressible changeling use. However, this comes from a dungeon and cannot be purchased from the dealers. Not to mention that the Mists of Tirna Scithe are no longer available as Mythic Plus dungeons. So your first choice is this Shadow Orb of Torment. The additional mastery is enormously powerful and available when you really need it thanks to the use effect.

If you have a weapon and a shadow orb, then the third choice is difficult. We advise you to Elegy of the Eternals. So you have a solid, second piece of jewelry as a supplement. You can also use this in the other two playstyles, or combine it with the changeling (if you have one) in fights where mastery doesn’t count. If you already have both, grab this Crumbling Crests of Lordaeron. This shield isn’t strong, and it’s also pretty good-looking.
Confusing Cartel Dinar – Protection Paladin
For tanks there is a large selection of situationally good pieces of jewellery. So this is where your focus should be. You don’t get weapons until you own two good trinkets. Because the latter are more important for your own survival than a weapon. Even a shield plays a bigger role. Therefore, if you really have no luck with the actual loot, you have to do without a weapon completely.

First of all, we recommend the Shards of Annhylde’s Aegis. This trinket is extremely strong against most bosses and trash groups and absorbs more damage than comparable items. More importantly, it absorbs damage over a longer period of time rather than all at once – making your healers’ job a whole lot easier. The additional damage comes as a bonus.

With the second piece of jewellery, the choice is a little more difficult. You decide between Soul of an ancient warrior and Web of distorted fates. The former gives you a constantly high speed value. This provides more offense and defense in equal measure, giving you a lot of gains over the whole fight. The web, on the other hand, lets you rise from the dead once every eight minutes. If you are dealing with really tough bosses and strenuous progress, you should go for it, as you can prevent or delay many wipes with it. In theory, you could just get all three trinkets and switch to whatever makes more sense in the fight ahead.

If you are well positioned with the pieces of jewellery, you should get a weapon and a shield with a high item level. That Crumbling Crests of Lordaeron is better defensively, that light splitter axe on the other hand, provides more DpS. In that case, you have to decide what is more important to you. When in doubt, it is better to think too defensively than too offensively.
