Alone in the Dark: Remake of the survival horror classic officially confirmed
A few days ago there were rumors that Alone in the dark would get one reissue. As part of the “THQ Nordic Digital Showcase 2022” last Friday, the Swedish publisher now confirmed officially working on a remake.

The first part of the “Alone in the Dark” series was released in 1992 and paved the way for an entire gaming genre and title like resident Evil and Silent Hill. Six more parts were published by 2015, but they recently received only moderate reviews.
In cooperation with the also Swedish Development studio Pieces Interactive takes himself now THQ Nordic of the classic.

The matter becomes even more mysterious when it turns out that a dark conspiracy is behind everything. In the course of the game we meet spooky residents, terrifying monsters and spooky locations.
By the way, the idea for the game is based on that Cthulhu Mythos. With that, “Alone in the Dark” is next Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened the next remake that by HP Lovecraft’s horror classics was inspired.
Alone in the Dark will be released for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC. A Release date is not yet known.
