FIFA 23: This is the download size for the beta on PS5 and Xbox Series
The FIFA 23 closed beta allows players to test out the upcoming title’s changes. Electronic Arts can still make final fine-tuning based on resulting player feedback. Now it is known how large the download size is.
The beta version FIFA 23 uses up so much disk space
The FIFA 23 beta started on August 11th – the game itself will be released on September 30th, 2022 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox. With the Ultimate Edition you can kick off as early as September 27th. Console gamers from the US and UK are among the lucky few to preview EA’s latest FIFA title.
The download size of the beta is also interesting for fans outside of these regions, because this should not differ too much from the later installation size. Here we have listed the different download sizes for the consoles:
- PlayStation 5: 51.19GB
- Xbox Series: 44.68GB

As you can see, the PC isn’t included yet, as this version hasn’t been tested in beta. Switch and Stadia are also not included. However, the PC version should not deviate significantly from the download sizes on the consoles. With some major changes coming to PC right now, it’s entirely possible that this platform will still get a beta or be included in this round. There’s still some time.
On September 1st the closed beta will be over again.
