Hogwarts Legacy: Open-World Magic School postponed to 2023

Hogwarts Legacy (Rollenspiel) von Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment

All magic has failed: The open-world adventure around the famous magic boarding school will no longer make it onto the hard drives of consoles and PCs this year and will fly out of the release window.

It was foreseeable, now it has become sad reality. The great adventure in the Harry Potter universe still needs some fine-tuning before it is ready for an official sales launch.

Sad Christmas

After the last postponements of games that were supposed to be released this year, namely Forspoken, Gollum, Arc Raiders and the new Avatar game, Hogwarts Legacy won’t make it to 2022 either. It would be a shame if the magical open-world game would be Play the perfect pastime for the dark season and the best excuse to be absent from the dining table overflowing with relatives.

Nothing will come of it anymore, other stopgap people have to do the job. After all, the two strongest titles, the father-son-Geschnetzel God of War Ragnarök for PS4 and PS5 and the nerve-wracking horror hunt The Callisto Protocol for consoles and PC shouldn’t be postponed and still ensure the players a more or less merry Christmas.

Fortunately, the new release date for Hogwarts Legacy is not very far away, sales for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X are scheduled to start on February 10th. The cloud-based Switch version still has no exact release date.
