Path of Exile: Lake of Kalandra – how the new league works!
After three months of the Sentinel League in Path of Exile, the next big patch will start on August 19, 2022: Lake of Kalandra is the name of the update 3.19.0 revealing a mystery that has existed since the origins of PoE – who is Kalandra? After all, the most valuable item in the game is named after this mystical figure Mirror of Kalandra. Patch 3.19.0’s new league mechanics will take us to Kalandra’s domain, to a lake that can reflect all the happenings of the world. For you, of course, this means: hordes of monsters and juicy loot! Lake of Kalandra: How the new Path of Exile league works
As the league progresses, you visit the mirrored lake of Kalandras by interacting with “Mirrored Tablets” in Wraeclast to mirror certain events in the world – so you use reflections to craft your dangerous encounters with a wide variety of opponents, including from other league mechanics , like Harbinger, Legion or Beyond.
Depending on the reflection, you will also encounter well-known league mechanics from Path of Exile in Lake of Kalandra – such as Harbinger.

As usual, you can decide for yourself how big the challenge you want to face should be. The further you move a reflection on the board from the entrance of the lake, the higher the level of difficulty, but also the reward that awaits you. You can later unlock the option to skip certain reflections or reroll them. In the endgame, you can even turn crafted boards into items so you can trade them or just keep them for later.

The Reflecting Mist awaits you as a juicy reward at the end of a table run in Lake of Kalandra: This feature manifests a ring or an amulet and its reflection.
These have strong advantages and disadvantages, which do not overlap, but are even opposite. So while one ring offers +70 percent fire resistance, its mirror image has -70 percent fire resistance. The two then also have mods such as increased/reduced cold damage or increased/reduced strength.
