Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 pre-orders get another bonus

Pre-order the digital version from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 get another bonus. As announced by Activision and Infinity Ward, players who decide to pre-purchase the new first-person shooter can already play the single-player campaign a week before the release. In the campaign, Task Force 141 must face its greatest threat yet. You travel to locations in Asia, America and Europe – and take part in attacks off the coast with underwater combat or attacks from 10,000 meters above sea level. One or the other sneak mission is also included.

Early Beta Access

“With improved graphics from photogrammetry technology “The Modern Warfare 2 campaign offers you stunning visual fidelity, covering some of the smallest details like the physics and optics of water to create a truly immersive experience,” writes Activision in the PlayStation Blog. There are also improved shadow systems and soundscapes. The developers previously announced the dates for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta test – you can find them under the link. Those who pre-order also get early access; an open beta for all interested parties is also in prospect.

Note: Early access to the campaign only applies to pre-orders of the digital version (PSN, Xbox Store, Steam etc)

More bonuses for pre-orders

Those who pre-order the standard version of Modern Warfare 2 will also receive the Final Judgment Bundle, which includes instant access to the Legendary Deathknell Operator Skin and Legendary Bloodthirsty Weapon Blueprint for use in Vanguard and Warzone. By pre-purchasing the Vault Edition, you will receive, among other things, the “Ghost Legacy” pack with more than 20 items for Modern Warfare (2019) and Warzone. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is coming to PC and consoles on October 28th.
