The streaming service RTL+ is expanding its portfolio and is now offering the music service Deezer in addition to the previous offer in the “RTL+ Max” tariff. The company confirmed this in an official statement press release.
For an introductory price of EUR 9.99 per month, existing and new customers will have access to more than 90 million songs, which will be made available in partnership with the established provider Deezer. The special price applies to the first six months of the newly compiled tariff, after which the monthly cancellable subscription will be EUR 12.99 per month.
According to the company, the entire product range is provided by Deezer, which should include more than 5,000 curated playlists in addition to weekly new releases. Radio streams should also be included in the new RTL Plus offer. To start with, the new RTL+ offer will be presented in the “RTL+ Musik” app specially developed for Android and iOS, in which podcasts and audio books will gradually be included in the catalogue.
According to RTL, the previously managed “Audio Now” portal should also be included in the new app in the future. The company wants to make it dependent on customer feedback whether RTL+ will continue to be managed via two separate applications in the long term or whether the offers will be combined.
In addition to the new music portfolio as part of the Deezer cooperation, the “RTL + Max” tariff offers the opportunity to catch up on missed programs from the associated free and pay TV channels on demand. In addition, selected international films and series are available in their original language, both as streams and as downloads. Max customers can also look forward to fewer commercial breaks and the option of two parallel streams. About the official website of RTL+ you will find all further information on the new tariff as well as the entire offer of the streaming provider.
