The Rings of Power – When will the episodes start in Germany?

The time has come for The Lord of the Rings series The Rings of Power is in the starting blocks. It will debut next month and henceforth the VoD program of Prime video enrich.

But there is news at the start of the series: the series will not be unlocked with one episode, as we initially thought. Amazon switches for the Two episodes at the beginning free.

We will be following the respective episodes of the LotR prequel set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, the thousands of years before The Lord of the Rings is located, so experience it a week earlier.

That Silmarillion, the Prologue to the LotR novel and the others notes by JRR Tolkien tell of rise and fall Numenors and we’ll find out how a ring through Sauron was forged. A goodbye to Galadriel, Elrond and Isildur is already confirmed.

The Rings of Power: When are the episodes airing?

When does The Rings of Power start? The series will be available in Germany from September 2, 2022 Ready to stream on Prime Video. And that immediately with two episodes.

The other episodes then run with one seven days apart via the VoD stage. Here you can see when exactly the individual episodes will be unlocked:

• Episode 8 of The Rings of Power is on October 14, 2022

Amazon confirms that the episodes will unlock simultaneously everywhere in the world. That means the first two episodes will be in Germany from 3 a.m be visible.

But from the second week onwards they run a little later. After the big start, the episodes in this country will only be from 6 a.m shown.

Incidentally, the motivation for the adaptation with the double episode at the beginning could be that Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon will be launched on October 23 with the final tenth episode.

Amazon apparently didn’t want The Rings of Power finale to air on October 21 because that would have been the same week as that GoT Finale. In any case, the grand finale is now running a week earlier.
