Gamescom 2022: All online dates of the big games fair at a glance
This year Gamescom is finally taking place again on site in Cologne. If you are not personally at Gamescom 2022 and want to watch the shows comfortably at home, you can get all the dates on a silver platter here.

With our article you will know exactly what to expect this week and when you should tune in. Here we have listed all dates including German time for you:
- Destiny 2 Showcase: Tuesday, August 23 at 6:00 p.m
- Opening Night Live: Tuesday, August 23 at 8:00 p.m
- Future Games Show: Wednesday, August 24 at 8 p.m
- Xbox gamescom 2022: Thursday 25 August at 2 p.m
- Awesome Indies Showcase: Friday, August 26 at 5:30 p.m
That’s what you can expect in the shows
Destiny 2 Showcase: In this first presentation, Bungie shares what to expect in Destiny 2 in the future. For example, the developer announces the next expansion “Lightfall” and will certainly give us a few hints about the 18th season. You can also watch a one-hour pre-show.
Opening Night Live: Over the two hours of the opening show, hosted by Geoff Keighley, you’ll get insights into over 30 games. Included are Hogwarts Legacy, The Callisto Protocol, Goat Simulator 3, High on Life and more. New trailers for Sonic Frontiers and Return to Monkey Island will also be shown.
Future Games Show: This show is hosted by Christopher Judge, the pleasantly deep voice of God of War’s Kratos, and Freya’s voice actor, Danielle Bisutti. Over 50 games for PC and console are to be shown here. We can get new footage from Goat Simulator 3, Layers of Fears, Deliver Us Mars, A Little to the Left, The Last Case of Benedict Fox, Stray Blade, The Chant and more.
Xbox gamescom 2022: This live stream lasts a full six hours. News about Microsoft Flight Simulator, Gunfire Reborn, Sea of Thieves, Lies of Pi, High on Life, Grounded, Pentiment, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Minecraft Legends, Planet of Lana and Age of Empires IV will be shown a little more comfortably during this time.
Awesome India Showcase: It’s all about indies here. Along with IGN, 40 games are expected to be shown in this presentation. You can also expect “exclusive trailers, gameplay and a unique arrangement”.
What about other big publishers?
PlayStation, Nintendo Activision and Take-Two are not at Gamescom this year. Ubisoft, Bandai Namco and Embracer take part in this. If there are further showcases or changes at Gamescom 2022, we will keep you informed.
