Gamescom Award 2022: The nominees have been chosen and Microsoft has already secured an award!

The nominees for the gamescom award 2022 have been chosen: The jury, which includes German and international games journalists and well-known creators, made its selection from a large number of submissions.

This year, winners will be awarded in a total of 19 categories. Exhibitors and fans of gamescom (23rd to 28th August 2022) can be excited to see who will receive one of the coveted trophies. For the first time, the “gamescom goes green award” will be presented in cooperation with “Playing for the Planet”, an initiative supported by the United Nations Environment Program. This award and the platform categories will be presented on Tuesday during gamescom: Opening Night Live.

From now until Friday, August 26, 3:00 p.m. (CEST), gamescom fans can vote for their favorites in the fan categories Best Booth and Best Trailer/Announcement. You can vote online at https://gamescom.de/de/consumer-award hand over. The Consumer Awards and the other jury categories Best Lineup and HEART OF GAMING Award will be presented on Saturday, August 27th in the gamescom studio.
