In a recently released developer video, DICE promises to be the first Improvements for Renewal in September, wanting to play the second round in October. With the release of Season 2 there should also be a larger selection of weapons. The weapons from the Battlefield Portal sandbox should gradually migrate to the regular game modes. For the start of the new season are first the M16A3 and M60E4 announced. Completely new weapons are also to be introduced with Season 2. New vehicles, more weekly missions, new experiences and “more in Portal and more Community Spotlights” are also promised.
Season 3 brings back the class system
For Season 3, the developers have a return of the class system intended. After the change from the classes to the specialists for the release caused criticism, the classes should finally return in the fall after next season.
