Dying Light 2: The First Story DLC shows up in the trailer during ONL
Dying Light 2 is getting its first story expansion.
In February, Dying Light 2 sent us to zombie-infested Villedor, where protagonist Aiden Caldwell is in search of his sister. The action starts more than 20 years after part 1 and presents us with a whole new story, during which we can shoot at different factions in the post-apocalyptic city. This story is now being expanded with a first story DLC. The add-on Bloody Ties, which, as the first trailer reveals, is dedicated to bloody arena fights, will be released on October 13th.

Here’s what we know about the DLC
It’s all about this: A short teaser announced last week that we will see new things about the zombie game at Opening Night Live, the start of gamescom 2022. Host Geoff Keighly brought us another world premiere with the first longer trailer.
This was to see: In the trailer, we see brutal arena battles obviously fought by a group of survivors. The whole thing is staged as a big circus show. We see fighters in masks and bloody executions.
In the expansion, we once again take on the role of Aiden trying to earn a place among the best fighters in the pantheon. He wants to stand by a new friend and help him avenge his brother’s death. The new location to which we end up is the so-called Massacre Hall. In addition, we can expect a new weapon called the shield glove, which should provide more creativity in the fights.
