Hogwarts Legacy: Warner shows new trailer for Gamescom: Opening Night Live

Hogwarts Legacy is scheduled to be released for all major platforms in early February 2023. The action role-playing game from Avalanche Software could not be missing from gamescom: Opening Night Live.

It’s been a good two years since the first trailer allowed a first glimpse into the open game world in the Harry Potter universe. As part of the gamescom 2022 kick-off event, publisher Warner Bros. announced further details about the forthcoming release. They show: Hogwarts Legacy isn’t just for Potterheads.

Hogwarts Legacy trailer is a deep dive

“When you befriend Slytherin student Sebastian Sallow, you’ll be faced with the choice of accepting or rejecting the Dark Arts while uncovering his family’s mystery in his companion questline,” reads the new trailer’s description . He gives the fans insights they have been waiting for for a long time.

Focusing on one of the many optional companion quests in Hogwarts Legacy, the video features unforgivable curses as well as difficult dilemmas. Players will be confronted with them “when they learn more about the secret of the Sallow family and decide whether they want to embark on the dark arts or even embrace them.”
